Nemesis, 'The world's most intense ride experience' opened in 1994. Nemesis has constantly been rated as one of the best roller coasters in the world. Due to its theming and ground effect it creates a unique and very intense ride. Nemesis is built into a hole in the ground meaning that riders are very close to rocks and fences around the ride. It is uniquely themed and riders come very close to 'blood' waterfalls and pools. Because of this Nemesis can't be seen, even when entering Forbidden Valley, it's likely you'll be able to hear the trains roar before you see the ride. The music around Nemesis is very atmospheric and makes riders think twice before riding.

The average queue time for Nemesis is 30 minutes, we therefore recommend that you queue for the front as it is well worth the extra wait.

After boarding and all the checks have been made, the train departs and turns to the right. It then climbs the lift, as the ride is built in a hole it still has to climb quite high to actually get to the tree line. Once at the top a small dip to the left starts the ride, before a drop down towards the queue line and the edge of the cliff. You enter a corkscrew before a sharp helix to the right. Smile for the camera as you enter the Zero G roll over the roof of the station. A stall turn leads back down to the pit of the hole where you enter a vertical loop. An overhead turn leads you under the exit path as you enter another corkscrew. The final helix leads to the brakes and your experience on Nemesis is over.

It doesn't matter when you ride Nemesis but we recommend that you ride second (after Air) because then you don't have to keep walking back to the Forbidden Valley.

Riders must be a minimum of 1.4 metres tall to ride. There is a test seat located at the ride entrance if you're unsure.
